Timeline
4 Weeks
Design process
We followed the Design sprint methodology to create an MVP that helps us validate the solution with the potential customers before investing time and development efforts.
Expert Interviews
We conducted expert interviews with Co-Founders Sarika Garg & Brian Zotter as well as other stakeholders as part of the research plan. This gave a deep understanding of the problem they are trying to solve. Below are some major takeaways that helped us identify prospects.
Mindmapping
Created a mind map to learn more about the domain we were trying to solve, for example applications and their constraints.
Competitor Analysis
After the mind mapping, we have picked up entities that are our competitors directly or indirectly and collected their inspirations to understand the golden path
Problems
Based on the expert interview, we were able to identify the problems that are being faced currently in the market. They are as follows
Core Value Proposition
Also, it has allowed us to identify three major opportunities that can be our core value proposition.
Personas
For the MVP, we have taken a path that addresses the How might we’s mentioned above faced by Care Builders, Providers, and Patients.
How might we?
After identifying design challenges through subject matter expert interviews, we transformed these statements into aspirational questions that create a welcoming space for “out of the box” thinking.
Designing The Solution
I and fellow designer along with the product manager framed bite-sized user stories to start wireframing. This helped to build context in terms of the job the user is trying to get done in each stage.
Design System
We had picked a design system using People, parts, and systems. Where we identified components required from wireframes and picked the most relevant UI Kit which then only needed to be tweaked
Visual Design
After creating visual designs, we had stitched the flow together for the demo with potential customers and also to be used for pitching to investors.
Prototype
We stitched the flow together to demo them for investors and potential clients. Here, I have embedded the prototype to the POS module.
Outcome
The Alpha release helped the client take a proposal to potential customers and tell a story about how their solution might reduce time to market. Also, the good news is that 3 customers signed up initially and raised $6M in the seed funding.
